Meet The Adorable Dog Who Plays The Mommy Role So Perfectly For Two Little Shy Kittens

As much as we think dogs and cats don’t get along together, the internet is proving us wrong everyday and more. We’re about to witness a sweet bond between a dog who took under her wing two shy kittens.

The dog named Kona has gone viral on Instagram because of the videos her human shared of her taking care of two kittens, Chester and Blair, 10-12 week old. In just three days of their arrival, it already started to look like Kona was the one who adopted them, playing the role of their mommy so perfectly.
Asa, the owner of Kona, had fostered over 164 animals and found them forever homes. Being raised in a kind of broken family, having animals around from a young age helped her create a constant in life with the dog being the only living beings she could turn to.
“Fostering is my way of giving back to the animals. I’ve always loved dogs since I grew up with 3 of them (4 at one point). I had kind of a broken family and my dogs were the one constant in life, and as an only child, I leaned on them a lot for consolation. They brought me so much joy throughout my childhood and I knew I wanted to give back somehow, and fostering is my way of giving back,” said Asa.
